2006 Chevy Impala SS: More Vroom!
Posted on April 12th, 2010
Chevrolet’s flagship car, the Impala, finally has the power, announced his name the same. Since then the car was redesigned in late 1990 years, the Impala has more of a competitor as a performer. Now, with an optional 5.3L V8 small-block added to the mix, the 2006 Chevrolet Impala, tip to toe, to go with the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger. no changes for the Impala are all under the hood, Chevy took the time to redo the whole car and have done so with care. Let’s look at some ofChanges for 2006.
More power – a V6 engine is great, especially in these times of fuel prices. However, if you work for a car-sized Impala, opt for at least the possibility of purchasing a V8 makes sense, right? You better believe it. GM has the task of plunking in a V8 Corvette technology, engine heads with “their pent-combustion chambers and pistons flat roof top to provide high power” includes sweetened, this according to Chevrolet PromotionMaterial. Furthermore, “the GM technology” displacement on demand allows the V8 to squeeze out a paltry 28 mpg on the highway [18] mpg city with computer equipment, requested the arrest of the cylinder at the right time. Cadillac tried in the early 1980s with its V8 engine 6-4, that the way to work as computer technology was alive at that time did not, I do not know what it is today. Fortunately, current GM technology makes this a reality for current models.
It seems better – When it comes to”Watch” Beauty is subjective. However, previous Impala models had a little ‘one of them look pedestrian. The category is highly competitive large sedan, this can easily mean lost sales, as the decisions for the same price is strong, aggressive cars to the future. All new sheet metal, a nose confident – similar to the Cobalt – and updated headlights and rear lights gives the Impala a fresh and confident.
Models – 6 in fact. The return of the “SS” as the signature modelRevenues should help. SS or Super Sport “is a term that was used originally for 1961 Impala and the mid-’60s began to represent each of the performance models in the fleet. The Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all had that designation then while the Impala , Cobalt, Malibu, TrailBlazer and wear today.
Enhanced Interior – If you know that changes are the skin and is under the hood, you might as well dress up the interior, not so good? The LTZ model – who the hell knows what thefall – has heated front seats upholstered in leather. Throw in 8-way power and adjustable lumbar support for driver and you are talking top of the line amenities. On some models, the new “flip and fold” rear seats is available, side airbags for front seats is standard on all Impalas, and keyless entry, power windows, tilt steering wheel, OnStar, cruise control, and host of other features are all standard on the Impala.
Prices start in the low 20s (U.S.) and up to almost 30K (U.S.)fully loaded SS models. How the SS sells remains to be seen, but its bold, fresh look will certainly be among those who previously dismissed the complaint Impala.
